NEAR EAST UNIVERSITY
From the year of its foundation in 1988, to its outstanding growth throughout the years, Near East University has been the largest, most well equipped and diverse educational institution of Cyprus that has the identity of being a centre of science and culture in all of the Mediterranean region.
Near East University is host to 16 faculties and 6 colleges with a total of 188 undergraduate and associate degree programmes along with 218 postgraduate programmes.
Near East University has a full membership of 118 national and international institutions including European Universities Association (EUA), International Association of Universities (IAU) within the scope of UNESCO, International Society for Engineering Pedagogy (IGIP), internationally honoured Joint Commission International (JCI), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), ASIIN accreditation, Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and Higher Education Planning, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK).
With its internationally known identity, Near East University is still providing world standard academic education to over 30 thousand students from 114 different countries within its modern campus via its rich, socio-cultural and sportive facilities.
